Big, Bold, and Bright Exhibition
Location: Activity Center @ Bohrer Park, Gaithersburg, MD 20877
Dates: April 27-July 12 2026 (Artist Reception on Thursday, May 7 from 6-7:30pm)
Come see an art exhibit that showcases large-scale, colorful, and abstract artwork, with each piece measuring at least 24 inches. This exhibition features the work of 18 artists with a wide range of mediums, including photography, collage, watercolor, acrylic, oil, printmaking techniques, mixed media, and fiber art.

The MCIE Summer Institute is a two‑day, in‑person learning experience for district and school leaders committed to building inclusive systems where every learner is a valued member of the school community.
This year’s theme—Breaking Barriers for Authentic Inclusion—centers on identifying and dismantling the organizational, structural, and belief‑based barriers that limit access, participation, and belonging for students with disabilities, multilingual learners, and other historically marginalized students.

A Closer Look – MAA Art Show (Juried)

We are thrilled to announce our first show at the beautiful and historic Kentlands Mansion. This exceptional venue offers an incredible opportunity for MAA artists to showcase their work in one of the more important galleries in the area.
This is a juried exhibition of 50 artworks. Artwork at Kentlands Mansion will be displayed throughout both the first and second floors of the mansion, along with adjoining rooms that create the “gallery” experience.
