Justin has received several awards for his work as an artist and author. In November 2023, Justin was a recipient of the Maryland Governor’s Award for Disability Culture. The Governor’s award is not the only award that he has gotten as an artist. In 2024, Justin was nominated for an EDDIE award and he got an award at work for being an exemplary employee who helps improve the workplace. He has also been on Fox 5 News for his artwork at The Seneca Rockville and has gotten recognition from his peers for his art. He is eagerly awaiting to hear back from the awards committee in Atlanta about the EDDIE award that he applied for.
